COVID-19 Race Updates

After much consideration, the Santa Barbara Wine County Half Marathon has been rescheduled to October 23, 2021. Through our discussions with local governmental authorities, it has been concluded that hosting the event this coming May will not be possible due to the current state and local health restrictions. Our commitment to in-person racing remains unwavering, which is the driving force behind this recent update.

If you are already registered for the Santa Barbara Wine Country Half you do not need to take any action. We will automatically transfer you to the new fall date.

If you do not want to run in-person in 2021 you have these other great options:

  1. Defer your entry to 2022- The 2022 Santa Barbara Wine Country Half will take place on Saturday, May 14th. Request your deferral now: Request Form
  2. Run with us virtually– If you’d like to transfer into the virtual race, you may do so by filling out the Request Form
